The documentary, produced by The Escapist and filmed during Fanfest 2022, provides an intimate look at the dedicated and passionate fanbase that drives EVE Online.
The documentary is the first of two planned releases, with the second documentary, “The Making of EVE Online,” set to premiere at Fanfest 2023. This second documentary aims to showcase the evolution of the renowned MMO over the past two decades. Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, the CEO of CCP Games, expressed his excitement about the upcoming Fanfest, calling it the largest and most symbolic community gathering in the company’s history. Fanfest 2023 will feature the debut performance of CCP’s in-house band, Crowd Kon7rol, adding a musical element to the event.
