Stunlock Studios, the creators behind the vampire-themed sensation V Rising, have unveiled an electrifying crossover event that promises to captivate gamers far and wide. Mark your calendars for May 8th as the realms of V Rising and Castlevania converge in an epic clash, with the famed vampire hunter Simon Belmont venturing into the shadowy realm of Vardoran.
For those unfamiliar, V Rising immerses players in the role of a vampire, allowing them to construct lavish gothic castles and indulge in their thirst for blood. However, this realm of darkness faces its greatest challenge yet as Simon Belmont, armed with his legendary whip, the Vampire Killer, embarks on a crusade to rid the land of its nocturnal denizens.
Yet, in a twist from the traditional Castlevania narrative, players in V Rising will have the chance to challenge Belmont himself. Triumph over Belmont’s onslaught, and players will claim the iconic whip, equipped with new moves and abilities to unleash against their adversaries.
The crossover event, dubbed “Legacy of Castlevania,” offers both complimentary and premium content. All players can confront Belmont and secure the coveted whip, while those opting for the premium pack will gain access to an array of cosmetic DLC. This includes decor and character customisation options inspired by the Castlevania universe, alongside a chilling skeletal mount to strike fear into foes.
