Zenless Zone Zero, the acclaimed action RPG, has announced the arrival of a new agent, Burnice White, who is set to debut in the highly anticipated version 1.2 update. This announcement is part of a broader reveal of new characters expected to join the game in upcoming updates.
Burnice White, a new addition to the Sons of Calydon faction—which already includes characters such as Lucy and Piper—has been showcased in recent drip marketing campaigns. Although specifics regarding her abilities and rarity remain undisclosed, the reveal has generated considerable excitement among the Zenless Zone Zero community.
The game is known for its diverse roster of agents, each distinguished by unique attributes and abilities. Similar to Genshin Impact, agents in Zenless Zone Zero possess various elements and skill sets, including basic attacks, passive abilities, an ultimate move, and a core skill. Players can enhance these abilities by using specific materials, adding a layer of strategic depth to the game.
Burnice White’s design, highlighted in official artwork, portrays her as a dynamic character equipped with side-handle batons, complemented by a leather jacket, a black skirt, and sunglasses. As an Anomaly character—like Nicole—Burnice White is expected to play a role focused on applying debuffs to enemies. Her classification as a Fire-type agent suggests that she will inflict a “Burn” status on opponents, leading to additional damage over time (DoT). Her performance will be closely monitored, particularly in comparison to existing Fire agents such as Lucy, Koleda, and Soldier 11.
In addition to the new agent reveal, Zenless Zone Zero is gearing up for the release of version 1.1, which will introduce a range of new content. This update will feature the debut banner for Qingyi, alongside two new A-rank agents, Coring and Billy. The update will also include several new W-Engines (weapons) and a new Bangboo, Officer Cui. Moreover, version 1.1 will present seven events, each offering valuable rewards to players.
Also making an appearance in version 1.1 is Jane Doe, an S-Rank agent with a Physical attribute. Jane Doe is set to play a pivotal role as an on-field DPS (damage per second) character. According to leaks, she will utilise the Sharpened Stinger W-Engine, which is designed to boost her Physical damage output. Her banner is expected to be available in the latter part of the version 1.1 update next month.
As Zenless Zone Zero continues to expand its universe with new characters and content, the forthcoming version 1.1 update and the subsequent version 1.2 release promise to significantly enhance the gameplay experience. Each new agent introduces unique abilities and strategic possibilities, offering players fresh challenges and opportunities within the game.
In summary, the introduction of Burnice White and the upcoming updates mark an important evolution in Zenless Zone Zero, reflecting the developers’ ongoing commitment to diversifying and expanding the game’s character roster. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for further announcements as more details about these exciting new additions become available.
